LDAP Update - v1.0.1
Description
This will update the LDAP module from v1.0 to v1.0.1 for the introupe system.
It is highly recommended to install this update even if you do not experience any of the problems stated below.
This update contains the following changes:
- Improved performance
- Option to turn LDAP authentication on/off
- Email issues using the HelpDesks
- Auto-logging in now fully working
- Usernames now stored in lowercase for Premises HelpDesk
Instructions
Download Update
- Click the 'Download Update' link above.
- Accept the license agreement and the download will start.
- BACKUP YOUR INTRANET AND DATABASE
- Run the update on the server. It will not work otherwise
- Access the Admin section via a web browser.
- Open the new 'LDAP' menu item.
- For Active Directory users, change 'LDAP attribute' from "sAMAccountName" to "samaccountname".
- Click 'Update' to save changes.
- Finished
